Yes, it’s still possible to use it anywhere in a workflow - in filters, in parameters, in action properties, etc.
To retrieve a stored value, use the “Shared memory” action to recall a value by its key (name). The action can append the recalled value as a new column so this value can be used, for instance, for filtering.
The best way to understand how the Shared Memory works is to try the action - save a value, retrieve a value, etc.
