"Fixed list" parameter limit at 200 values

Hello,

The current “fixed list” parameter can hold up to 200 values. We have some use cases in which it would be useful to have this limit raised so we can include up to 2000 values in the list, is this limit something that could change in future updates?

Hi Roberto,

In the future we will introduce the ability to have the list of values pulled from an external data source, so you will be able to have as many as you need. The 200 values limitation will remain until then.

The limit was increased from 200 to 1000 a few versions ago. However, the functionality of dynamic choice options will be implemented using "User input" rather than parameters. The "User input" feature is still planned for Q3-2024. The high-level roadmap until then is as follows:

  • [WIP] Issues in boards, the "Raise issue" action
  • New parameter types: "Uploaded files" and "Multi-line text"
  • [WIP] Server: users and user groups
  • Version 6 (migration to .NET 6)
  • Server: task triggers
  • :point_right: User input
