Update .Net framework and EasyMorph

Hi,

  • We need to update our .Net framework for some application to work. When we do this, do we need to stop EM-server or not ?

  • Do all EasyMorph versions work with the latest .Net framework ?

  • Is it a problem if we cannot immediatly update the .Net framework on the machines on which we use EasyMorph desktop but we already update the .Net framework on the machine on which we have our EM-server installed ?

We currently run version 4.4 of EasyMorph

Thanks
Nikolaas

.NET framework is backward compatible. In other words, apps and components built with previous versions will work without modification on the .NET Framework 4.5 and later versions.

You can upgrade you .NET framework without stopping EM Server.

In some cases you’ll need to restart the computer and/or close applications.
