Unable to load DLL 'TableauExtract.dll' (Server)

Hello.

We have been using Server for a long time now and have never had any issues with exporting to Tableau Server (beyond the occasional desktop/server version conflicts).

In the last couple of days though we have started getting the error below on any Server job that exports a TDE to Tableau Server.

Unable to load DLL ‘TableauExtract.dll’: The specified procedure could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007F)

We have tried repairing the Server install and uninstalling/reinstalling but with no success. The TableauExtract.dll is present.

Any help would be very much appreciated as we have a large number of jobs that export to TDE and running them in manually is not something we can do for any sustained period of time.

Hello Jon,

Can you please send your Server logs folder to our support email? By default its located at C:\ProgramData\EasyMorph Server\Logs.

Also do you have EasyMorph Desktop installed on the same computer with EasyMorph Server?
If yes - please open it, go About toolbar, open Diagnostic information popup and send the content of the first tab to our support email.

This error was caused by EasyMorph Server and Tableau Server 2019.2 installed on the same computer.

Is was a bug from our side and it was fixed.

Updated EasyMorph Desktop and EasyMorph Server versions are available on the corresponding pages:
