Hi, I am very new to easy morph and have a simple question. On a bar chart created from an excel file, is there a way for the chart to show the column total?
Hello @salbolizard and welcome to the community!
Just to understand, you are importing an Excel file and then creating a bar chart inside EasyMorph, like in the screenshot below? This is a chart that shows, from a table, the number of companies in a given industry. Are you looking for a visual representation of the total number of companies that appear in this chart?
Regards
Yes, that's correct
It's not possible to have it inside the actual chart, but you can derive a table from the chart, and use the Aggregate action to count, following my example, the total number of companies. I attach a screenshot and I upload this example project. You'll see that the zipped folder includes both the .morph file and an Excel file, please keep these two files in the same folder as the .morph file references the Excel inside the workflow.

Let me know if you have any questions. Regards!
It's also possible to generate a PDF report that includes the chart and the total count nearby. This is done in the "Report" tab, where you can include different tables / charts present in the workflow. In the following screenshot, you will see a report that includes the chart, and below that the count of companies. Apart from tables / charts, you can add custom text or images. Once ready, you can create the PDF by clicking on "Generate PDF".
You will also find this report in the sample project I uploaded before.
@salbolizard if you include a screenshot of the chart you've created in EasyMorph as well as the place where you would want the total to appear, that would be great, to make sure we're in the same page. Regards
