Sharepoint connection error

Hello,

After updating to the 6.0.1 version, we can't connect anymore to Sharepoint.

To be sure about our EasyMorph version, I just made the last install of the Server and Desktop version.

Could you tell me what is the problem and what should I do ?

Can you please tell us which action gives you those errors and what the settings of that action are?

Hello,

Just when testing the connection in the connector, it fails :

There is nothing in the "Options".

In the project, we use "Import Sharepoint List", with the connector above.

Then it show errors :

@WindBlast, thank you for the details. It looks like you are using SharePoint on-premises. Which version is that?

Yes we are on premise.

We use Sharepoint 2013

@WindBlast, we have switched to the SharePoint REST API in version 6.0.0 since there is no feasible way to use the old API (CSOM) after the migration to .NET 8. We have expected all the existing connectors and actions to continue to work with SharePoint 2013, but only if it has all the recent updates installed.

We have also taken into account that SharePoint 2013 reached it's end of support on April 11, 2023.

Can you please check if the REST API is enabled on your SharePoint instance and check the version of the latest update installed?

P.S. Are you planning to update SharePoint to one of the next versions anytime soon?

For now I can't have any response.
I will wait for a response.

We seems to have others problem with the new easymorph version, I will see what I can fix or not.

If we have too much problem, I will reinstall the last 5.x version

Our partner working on our Sharepoint doesn't work for us anymore, no update is planned, and we need someone to investigate has he can to know things about our Sharepoint.

We have multiple problems with the V6 : crash with mysql connections, problem with Sharepoint connections, problem with EM Server and AD connection (yes i have seen how to fix this).

We don't have the time to spend to try to fix all of this : contact the support, contact our network team, ou helpdesk or other team, and wait for responses or actions.

We rolled back to our previous version 5, and everythings works.

Maybe in the next months we will try to setup the V6 on a dev environment, and take time to try to fix all of our problems.

In the future, our Sharepoint's data are going to be migrated to new applications. This was planned, but this is clearly not for now.

@WindBlast, can you please elaborate on "crash with mysql connections"?

As for SharePoint 2013, we discussed internally, and the current recommendation is to stay on 5.x if version 6.x fails to work with the required SharePoint 2013 instance.

Yeah we will stay in v5 for now, we will take time to setup an environment for the v6.

About MySQL we got an error directly from the connection test in the connector.

I can't give you more informations because we rolled back our version just after this so I don't have the error message, and like for Sharepoint I need to contact the MySQL team to know what version it is, and eventually why my connection request fail.

I will be back with these topics when we will have more time to setup this.
