Hello everyone,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share some feedback regarding the recent changes to the schedule settings view in EasyMorph Server, specifically since the update to version 5.9.5.
While the new schedule settings interface makes it easier to adjust the schedule times, this change is not ideal for our use case. Our users need to manually trigger jobs on the EasyMorph Server page, but they should not be tempted to alter the scheduled executions. The previous version of the schedule settings was much more compact and user-friendly. It allowed users to quickly set up and manage their schedules without the risk of unintentionally modifying planned executions.
Additionally, the new layout has significantly increased the page length, making it less organized and harder to navigate. The compact view of the previous version was much more efficient and visually appealing.
Given this feedback, I would like to propose a potential solution: Could we have the option to choose between the new and the old schedule settings views in the admin settings? This way, users who prefer the simplicity and clarity of the previous version can continue to use it, while those who appreciate the new features can take advantage of them.
This dual-option approach would cater to the diverse needs of our user base and ensure that everyone can work efficiently without unnecessary frustration. It would also help in gradually transitioning users to the new interface without overwhelming them with sudden changes.
Best regard
Chris
