A few people reached out to us asking why the built-in version checker doesn’t notify about recently released new version.
We roll out new versions gradually, first on our web-site, than notifying through a newsletter, and only then notifying through the version checker. Such rollout approach helps restricting the number of users affected in case a bug is found. It may take a few weeks between a new version appears on the website, and triggering the version checker.
