Our network support teams are planning on updating various server hostnames to reflect their updated standards and it seems the Setup License screenshot has the Account as hostname\user - Can you confirm if a hostname change will impact the license and/or a new license will need to be created once the change is performed?
A Desktop license is linked to the user's identity. If the user is in the Windows domain, it's the user's AD identity (domain/username). If not, then it's the local Windows account (hostname/username). If any of these changes, it would require a license transfer to the new identity.
A Server license is linked to the hostname and installation. If the hostname changes, or if the Server is reinstalled, then the Server license should be transferred to the new installation.
