"File has wrong format" Error

Hi EM
When I try to import data from an Excel spreadsheet, it says “the file has wrong format. Insufficient disk space”
I´m using the version 5.1.1.1
Also note that this system had been working for over 2 years before it through up the error - about a week ago

Make sure your computer has enough free disk space, at least 500MB.
