Expose webfile manager as stand alone website

Hi,

Can the webfile manager be exposed as a separate website ?

Use case: external partners have to supply data files to us. It would be practical if the web file manager could be used as a GUI so that those partners can drop files in a drop zone.
It would be also necessary to restrict access rights to specific folders.

Hi Nikolaas,

You can create a separate space and enable only web files in that space (disable tasks). As an option, point the public folder of that space to the public folder of another (internal) space.

Alternatively, setup an automated routine to copy files from the public folder of an external space to some other location.

You can limit access to folders for the account that is used to run the space with web folders.
