Error message connecting to Tableau online (error 401001)

Hi,

Allthough it worked until some weeks ago, it is not possible to connect to Tableau Online using a PAT?

Is it correct that only the secret value is used in the Easymorph connector settings, and Secret ID and Client ID are not used?

Hi @Luc,

Tableau Online PAT expires after 15 days of inactivity.

Only the token name and the secret value are used to connect to Tableau Online when the "Sign in with" option of the connector is set to Personal access token.
