Error: Connectors can't be loaded: unable to open database file

Hi

When run the “Run another module/project” action, I got this error (is this case another project):

Error: Connectors can’t be loaded: unable to open database file.

What could be the cause?

Hi @Luc !

Generally, this error means that your data connector repository file (for the Desktop it’s c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\EasyMorph\repo.sqlite by default) is locked by some application (maybe, by EasyMorph itself).

Could you please write more details about how you get this error and your project/workflow?

Easymorph was installed by a person from the IT department and then another user (with another account) gets this error. Probably it is a matter of accessrights of the appdata map.

This certainly looks like the cause - EasyMorph Desktop should have read/write/delete access to the c:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\EasyMorph\ folder to function correctly.

Did changing directory permissions solved the issue?

Hi Luc,

EasyMorph is designed for per-user installation. It is not recommended to install EasyMorph system-wide into the “Program Files” folder. Otherwise, correct functioning is not guaranteed.
