EM as an ODBC datasource

Greetings,

If we could connect to an easymorph project with ODBC and see the default table as a source table.
This way I could insert EM into transformation chains between a datawarehouse and IBM TM1 (or Essbase or jedox or…)

Our current idea about a roadmap for an ODBC driver would be as follows:

  1. Introduce saving datasets into the native format (in v.3.9).
  2. Enable publishing datasets in EasyMorph native format to EasyMorph Server.
  3. Make an ODBC driver for EasyMorph Server that would allow querying published datasets from external applications.

Thoughts?

Not yet. We postponed plans for the ODBC driver. At this point, exposing datasets as OData endpoints seems more likely.
