I was hoping with the 6.0 version this feature will be added, but sadly that's not the case.
One thing is really missing in the Tasks list screen in the Hub : a way to sort or navigate to any existing group of tasks.
Because when we have 10+ tasks in each group, and a lot of groups, it could be boring to scroll to find what we search.
I think sort by group is useless, but maybe a navigation menu with the list of all the existing groups could be a good idea. When you click on a group in the list, you are directly placed on that group in the page. You could add it on the right of the tasks list, there is a large blank space at the right.
And maybe add to the search bar the possibility to search groups.
Like if you search "production" :
If there is a group named "production", you should see all the tasks inside the group.
And if there is a task named "production XXXX", you see it with the name of his group (that's how it works today).
The Tasks section for Boards might help. Create a Board for each grouping of tasks and then add the tasks section and pick the relevant group. You can then go to the Board and see just the subset of tasks.
But that cause you to have one board per task group, and each time you add a new task group you need to create a new board.
-> When we create a task, the group is automatically created in the task list, not in a new board.
Have the possibility to show tasks and tasks groups in a board is great, but for me it's to make specific boards.
And that could become a mess if you use the boards actively : one board per team member, one "administrator", one for this and one for that....
Navigate in the tasks list should be easier than actually.
But that's my opinion, maybe you don't see it like that !
