Easymorph application error

Hello,

Easymorph is malfunctioning today.

It worked earlier on but not any longer.

Please can you help?

Thanks

Hello @nbegbaaji,

Which EasyMorph version are you using?

When does this error happen?

What might have changed on your side between the last successful start and the failing one?

Does EasyMorph Launcher start successfully?

UPDATE: Can you please try uninstalling EasyMorph Desktop and then reinstalling it?

I’m using the most recent version of EasyMorph 5.9.7.23 (of course ) at work and remotely from home.

Nothing has changed at my end other than the fact that I’m not working remotely today, and working on a desktop computer. I have also had some Sharepoint syncing problems today. Some files and EasyMorph projects are just not syncing to my desktop.

I’ve had EasyMorph open all morning and have been working on various projects, simultaneously.

EasyMorph froze then (along with Launcher) disappeared off my screen and displayed a splash message. This was the first splash message:

I don’t know whether each message is identical each time, but I would receive one with every attempt to launch a project. Just in case, here is the second message again:

Since raising this ticket, I have uninstalled and reinstalled EasyMorph and have been able to successfully launch and use Easymorph.

However, when collaborating with a colleague, I tried to launch a particular project that he has JUST closed down but got a new message .

Here is the new 3rd message message.

I gave up launching that particular project in the end but was able to successfully re-launch the project I had been working on earlier.

Other projects have worked and are still working.

I hope that this helps.

@nbegbaaji, thank you for the details.

Were you syncing EasyMorph binaries too? One of the possible reasons for this error is corrupted DLL files.

The new 3rd error message is most likely not related to the initial two. Can you please send the project that gives you this error to support@easymorph.com, along with debug logs for the past few days?

@nbegbaaji, the third error has been fixed. You can get the updated version here.

Thanks Andrew

PS. I don’t know what an Easymorph binary is so I’m guessing the answer is ‘No’.

The issues have not occured since.

Binaries are files with exe and dll extensions from the EasyMorph installation folder (by default, it's "C:\Users<user_name>\AppData\Local\EasyMorph").

You are welcome!
