Capture user inputs

Greetings,

in the document “transition from Alteryx to EM” you wrote
Currently, EasyMorph doesn’t provide any run-time UI components to capture user input, although hopefully they’re on the roadmap for future release.
Can you tell me more ?

Regards

Hi Christophe,

EasyMorph will be able to prompt the user to enter values interactively during workflow execution. I envision a new action, “User input” that will display to the user a form similar to the parameter entry form, and wait until the user enters values which then become available in the workflow as the action’s output.

The action can be used multiple times in a workflow and should play well with loops and conditional branching.

Hi Dmitry,

Will this data entering have the same features than parameter entries, I mean drop down list, checkbox, date, prompt, annotations, validation rules ?

Regards

Yes, it will have all the input types that parameters have plus the ability to insert a dynamically calculated paragraph of text. So basically, it’s a configurable form.
