Hi, can someone please explain to me why I cannot create or edit connectors in our server space called 'Public'?
There are three spaces that share the same repository - 'Default' that's auto-generated, and two spaces that we created: 'Public' and 'Certified Morphs'. It appears that the list of connectors is the exact same across all three spaces, which makes sense. I can edit the connectors in both Default and Certified Morphs, but I cannot edit in the Public space. I can only copy connectors OUT of this space, after being prompted for the password. Is this a setting in the EM Server? Should I be able to edit the connectors in this space?
Hi Jacqueline,
Each space has its own configuration and permissions for using connectors. Even if two spaces share the same repository, all the relevant permissions should be configured in each space individually.
Make sure you have a role in the Public space that allows editing connectors. You can see and configure user roles in the "Users & Permissions" tab of the space settings.
Also, it appears like the repository is additionally protected with a password. You can set the read/write passwords in the "Repository" tab of the space settings. Note that a repository can have a read password, a write password, or both.
