My apologies, but I feel like I used to be able to have a copied value and then right click and paste the value into a search bar in Easymorph. But now it seems I can't. Am I misremembering functionality?

Which search bar are you trying to paste into? I just tried a few and right-clicking gets me a menu with the option to paste. Also what version of EM are you using?

Try pasting into a Filter action search bar or Excel import action.
I just tried to paste into the search bar in the clip below and it wouldn't take it. But after than I was able to paste into a document, so I know it was in the clipboard.
I am using the most up to date version of Easymorph. I just downloaded it again about an hour ago. Version 5.9.7.15
I've been able to recreate this and have passed it to the dev team to investigate.
CTRL + V still works to paste in the interim.
