Better visibility of annotations

Hi,

I'm not sure that annotations are often used in Easymorph. It remains interesting because they appear in the final html documentation.

What if annotations of table were added visually at the bottom of the tables ? I would appreciate that it is done in the Main menu but if you think it would take too much space, at least it would be interesting to have them in the diagram view. Also annotations of group should appear in the diagram view, at the bottom of groups as well.

At the end if you implement it, the diagram view will become interesting for end users because you will see how the groups are used and each table inside. Alteryx does that. That's perfect to have a big picture technically as well as functionnaly.

Regards

Sorry for the necroposting but I started using annotations to have a better documentation of my complex morph files and I found that in design time the visibility of annotations is really low.

If it is possible, I suggest the following feature:

  • On the "Project" tab, add a "Show annotations on designer" checkbox
  • If "Show annotations on designer" is checked, make red/more visible the gray triangle that indicates the presence of an annotation for a single action. Could be great to show the annotation on a floating label when the mouse is over an action with annotation
  • If "Show annotations on designer" is checked, show a banner on the bottom that will contain the annotation for the current module.
  • If "Show annotations on designer" is checked, show the annotation of the single table below the table or make it appears as a floating label when the mouse is over the table

Obviously I know that this is my detailed idea, I hope that even if not implemented as I wrote it could be possible to have a better visualization of the annotations.
