Are interactions between catalog items possible with the web browser, like in the desktop?

Hi,

Through the desktop you can define actions on rows, columns and at the dataset level inside one catalog dataset result. For example you can right click on a row and get another dataset based on that row. Is this possible on the web interface ? If not, do you plan to implement it ?

Yes, commands (hyperlinks) defined on Catalog assets in Desktop are supported on Server as well with a few differences:

  • Instead of right-clicking a cell, you just (left-)click a hyperlink
  • Only row commands are currently supported. Column commands and general commands will be added later.
  • The option to re-retrieve the dataset after a command is finished isn't supported yet (but will be).
