Hello,
I've updated our server to version 5.8.2. Unfortunately, when I create a new task, I have to save the project each time I fill in a field; otherwise, all fields are cleared.
Could you have a look at this ?
Thanks and regards,
Chris

Hi Chris, could you please elaborate on what you're doing?
I've tried creating a task on a latest Server install and it does not seem to clear fields in the process:
Chris, can you please also send a screenshot of the Task permissions in your user role specified in the space settings. Something like this:
Hi Olysak,
I am doing exactly the same as in your screen recording, but it clears all fields, even when I select a project. It seems like the browser updates the form content after a random delay (from one to ten seconds), causing all fields to become empty. I'm not on the server; I'm creating tasks on my desktop using Chrome. If I save after each change, there is no issue.
Just as a wild guess - could it be a browser extension of yours, like an autofiller, password manager, or something similar? Maybe you could try using a different browser that doesn't have any extensions, just to test this hypothesis?..
Very strange behaviour, it keeps clearing fields after a couple of seconds. I tried with edge and Firefox (that I never use) on my computer, and even on the server with a service account without any extension. I tried to create tasks with my account and also with the Anonymous sign-in with the same result.
I've also updated the .net version to 4.8 when I updated EM to 5.8.
If you open the page in a private (anonymous) browser tab, does it keep clearing fields?
Hi Dmitry,
I tried this yesterday, but it keeps clearing the fields. It seems like something is refreshing, though it doesn’t appear to be browser-related. My colleagues are experiencing the same issue—has anyone else encountered this? Perhaps I could give you access to our server so you can test?
The problem is confirmed. It appears when other tasks are frequently triggered.
A fix will be available shortly.
Hi Dmitry,
Server updated, and problem solved. Thank you for solving the problem so quickly.
Best regards,
Chris
Thank you for the confirmaiton, Chris!
