# Integrate data in one opened excel

I have an excel who always open is, I want to add data in it. I received on error cause excel is already opened. Do you have one solution for that ?

Hi @Filvog,

I don't think there is a way to make some other software to add data to a file opened in Excel.  
But it should be possible to create a VBA script that will add data to an opened file from some other source.
